What is an ESS CHAMBER ?
Environmental Stress Screening (ESS), also known as AST (Accelerated Stress Testing), HALT (Highly Accelerated Stress Test), HASS (Highly Accelerated Stress Screening) or Burn-in test.
Developed to help electronics manufacturers detect product defects and production flaws, ESS test is widely used in military and aerospace applications, and also for commercial products. ESS can be performed as part of the manufacturing process or it can be used in new product qualification testing. Tests typically include the following:
- Temperature variations
- Vibration tests
- Pressure
- Flexibility tests
ATMARS AFT Series Environmental Stress Screening ESS test chambers are designed to meet a range of ESS testing applications so as to improve quality, reliability and profitability by eliminating defective p-roducts. In turn, improved product quality and reliability will also lead to improved customer satisfaction, making it easier to maintain a customer base and to gain new customers.
Our standard ESS chambers models workspace volumes include: 225L, 408L, 500L, 800L, and 1000L. And interior dimensions can be customized according to specimen sizes and your testing requirements.
Optional humidity range: 20% RH to 98% RH (Lower humidity is available)
