Three-Zone Thermal Shock Test Chamber

Thermal shock testing chamber exposes products to alternating low and high temperatures to accelerate failures caused by temperature cycles or thermal shocks during normal use.

What is a Three -Zone Thermal Shock Chamber ?

3-Zone Thermal Shock Chambers from ATMARS has three side-by-side independent zones: hot, ambient, and cold. The addition of the ambient zone allows for three zone testing, which is a requirement of some military standards. 


ATST Series Three Zone (Hot/Ambient/Cold) Horizontal Layout (side by side) - direct hot/cold transfer with selectable ambient temperature dwell required for some MIL-STD's.

Our standard three-zone thermal shock chambers models workspace volumes include: 72L, 100L, 150L, 200L, 252L, 300L and 480L. And interior dimensions can be customized according to specimen sizes and your testing requirements.

Temperature Range:

- Hot zone to +180℃ (356° F)

- Cold zone to -75℃ (-103° F)

- Other temperature range available

High temperature exposure: +150℃ (302° F)

Low temperature exposure:

Type A: -40℃ (-40° F)

Type B: -55℃ (-67° F)

Type C: -65℃ (-85° F)

Recovery time for mechanical refrigeration : ≤ 5minutes

High / Low temperature exposure time: 30minutes

Basket transfer time within 10 Sec.
